Who we are
Waystar Enterprises Inc. is a construction and restoration company working on residential and commercial property across New York City. The work runs from the roof down: roofing and waterproofing, masonry and brick pointing, parapets and lintels, facade restoration and exterior painting, and the renovation and new construction work that happens inside.
Most of what we do starts with water. It gets into a building through the roof, the joints, the parapet or the lintel, and by the time it shows up on a ceiling it has usually been travelling for a while. A large part of the job is working backwards from the symptom to the actual entry point, rather than repairing the nearest visible thing.
How we work
We look at the building before we talk about price. That sounds obvious, but plenty of estimates arrive before anyone has been up a ladder. A site visit tells us what the property needs, what it does not need, and which parts of the problem are urgent rather than merely visible.
After the visit you get the scope in writing: the work, the materials, the sequence and the figures. Nothing starts until you have read it and agreed to it. If something is uncovered during the work that changes the scope, you hear about it at the time rather than at the end.
Residential and commercial
Houses, brownstones and multifamily buildings need a crew that respects a space people are living in. Storefronts, offices and mixed use property need scheduling that protects trading hours and tenant access. The standard of work is the same; the planning around it is not, and we say up front which one a project is going to behave like.
Planning and communication
One point of contact stays with the project from the first look to the final walkthrough. Access, parking, protection and working hours are agreed with you before the first tool comes out, and you get progress updates as the work moves rather than a message at the end saying it is finished.
At completion we walk the work with you. Anything outstanding goes on a list and gets dealt with.
